Johnson's Corner

There is a popular truck stop called, Johnson's Corner close to where we live. It is located in Loveland, CO. It has great food, including their super-size cinnamon rolls!

On our first official date, Q took me to the symphony. Before heading to Denver, we stopped here to eat. I remember that he had a grilled meat loaf sandwich and I settled for french toast.

Since we've been married, I have often referred to our place as "Johnson's Corner" (since Johnson is our last name). I made this sign a couple years ago to put in our kitchen. I went on the website to look at the lettering design so that it would look the same. I drew it freehand with pencil then painted it in using craft paint. I wrote "est. 2006" since that's the year we were married. I sprayed it with varnish when I was done painting it. Q loves it and so do I. It is a sweet touch to our little corner of the world.
