Baby Cards

I've made a few baby cards these last several months, using the one and only baby stamp I've got. (And can you believe that I found it at the dollar store? It's so cute!) Since three new babies have been born in our family recently, I thought I'd show you a small collection of cards I've made.

This is the simplest one I've done, using a blank 3x3 inch card. After stamping on the paper, I used decorative edge scissors to cut a square. I colored in the baby's hair and diaper using glittery markers.

This was a slightly larger card I made, but was easy to do, too. I again used the decorative edge scissors to cut the paper. I used the markers again, too, to color in the hair and diaper. I glued on a pink bow and wrote "congrats" with a fine tip black marker.

This is baby Carson's card that I made today. It's made on a 3x3 inch blank card. I used chalks to color and decorate the back ground, as well as the baby. The baby is glued onto a tag that is tied with ribbon.

This is baby Josie's card that I also made today. The background on the card was already printed  on it. I found the "baby girl" ribbon a while back at Target (on clearance!). The colors match perfectly. I used chalk to color in the baby. I think this card is my favorite one. :)

Which one do you like the best? I hope I've inspired you to get crafting this way. Cards are super simple to make, and the receiver is always so grateful for the love that was put into something handmade.

I like them all but since you asked I like the brown one best:)
Theo, have you thought of starting a home business in the gifts and talents God has given you to have more of a outreach to others? You are a very God gifted woman!

Thanks, Christina. Yes, I've thought about having a business making and selling artsy things. I'm praying about which way to go, what to market (cuz' it has to be unique), etc. We'll see what happens in the future...
