A friend from church is expecting her third child and asked me if I would make a hide and seek pillow for her other kids. She wants it to be a present from the baby to them. I thought it was a sweet idea so I set off to work. We had a conversation about these neat toys one night while serving in the nursery and told her I would make them for her. She's going to have this baby any day now, so I knew I had to get them done this weekend. I made them for the first time for our eight nieces and nephews this past Christmas. I made those square-shaped. I thought it would be fun to make two new shapes. Michaiah is receiving this heart-shaped pillow in her favorite color when her new little brother is born.
This little star is for Ethan. I used fabric paint to decorate both of them. Each has their initials on their pillow, as well as a tag indicating what objects they need to find inside....lots of fun!
