My story is that I found out I was pregnant in early February, so I scratched the competition. A few weeks later, I found out about my ectopic pregnancy and shortly thereafter miscarried. Up until recently, my body was still going through the effects of a miscarriage. I began working out again consistently a couple weeks ago. Emotionally, I've been getting better, but I know I've not eaten the best since my ordeal began. Even though I haven't lost any weight since the beginning, I've maintained the weight. So, that's good news to me. However, Q has gained a couple of his pounds back.
So what am I going to do? Well, first of all, I'm going to continue exercising on a regular basis. I feel so much better when I do. Second, I'm going to limit my sweets even more. This last thing is going to be hard, but I know I can do it somehow...since we've moved here, we've eaten out more than the normal. Going out to eat is the social activity at our church, and even though I try to make healthy choices, I know it's been effecting my weight loss. My plan is that I'm going to eat a healthy snack before church, then if we go out to eat, then I'm not starving as I sip my water. If I'm still hungry by the time I get home, I can eat a healthy choice then. How does that sound?;)
I'm determined to win, but I still want both of us to feel better and be healthy.
Do you have any tips as we get back on track? I would love to hear your ideas!;)
I got nothin' for ya. Just remember that you are not alone! I think everyone I know struggles with their weight. Some more than others, but we all seem to struggle. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, Mary Ann! Pray that I do well this month, now that I'm fully recovered from my miscarriage.
