Picture Cards

While I'm working on some new crafts, I thought I would post some things that I've made in the past couple years. I'll begin by showing two of my favorites.  This "simply wonderful" card was made for my husband.  The picture shows our holding hands and it was taken by my brother-in-law who is a photographer.  This was one of many great shots he took the night of our wedding rehearsal.  I used a heart rubber stamp to stamp the entire card with, then used decorative edge scissors to cut out a paper background and glued that on the card.  The final step was to glue the picture on to the red paper.  The "simply wonderful" sticker was placed on the bottom of the picture.

I loved this picture of me and niece, Mia, so much that I had to make a card with it and send it to her.  I used a sticker that said "priceless" and placed it on the bottom of the picture.  I used sticky foam for the frog stickers to make them look that they were jumping off the card.  I finally used decorative edge stickers to cut out a green piece of paper that gave a description of the picture.

Aren't picture cards great?  It's a neat memory for the receiver and so fun for the giver to make.
