This is me and Mia right before the tour started. We had to put on these hats. Not only is the tour fun, but it is also free! While you wait in the line to go in, workers pass out samples of their newest flavors. During the tour, the scent of the flavors is strong and makes you hungry! At the end of the tour, everyone gets a free small bag of jelly beans--yum!
After the tour, you can join this sample line. You can try up to three flavors for free! Some of the new flavors include Cold Stone Creamery ice cream flavors. There is also a little gift shop that offers lots of jelly belly bean products.
All over the factory, jelly bean mosaics like this are hung. Many are of famous people. I love this one of our former President Ronald Reagan. He was known for being the "jelly bean president." The Jelly Belly Factory even designed a special jar for his own jelly beans to be kept in his office and Air Force One.
This was a fun activity for our entire family. We enjoyed learning about how the jelly beans were made and eating them, too! If you'd like to know more information about this great place, you can find it here. Have fun!
That looks like it was a fun time!
